I have been practicing yoga for over 13 years and it is both my passion and my sanctuary. Similar to many newcomers, I was initially enticed to the world of yoga by the physical aspect, but was soon hooked by its deep spiritual connections and philosophy.
After moving to London in 2013 I began my teacher training with Alessandra Pecorella and became RHS200 certified. I teach a dynamic style vinyasa practice inspired by my many great teachers with my own little touches (lots of smiling and a bit of humour). This rhythmic flow links breath with movement, lifting the heart rate and helping to calm a busy mind. The vinyasa practice serves me in particular as a form of moving meditation – the perfect antidote for hectic big city life.
Alongside this I enjoy introducing new beginners to the practice and have recently started a new venture called ‘Minds over Matter’ with a friend of mine Malwina Koska, aimed at bringing the physical practice and its mindfulness techniques into the workplace (where we often need it most!).
