I have been practicing yoga since 2003 and it is both my passion and my sanctuary. Similar to many newcomers, I was initially drawn to yoga for physical wellbeing but then became hooked by the mental calm and clarity that regular practice also enables.
After moving to London I completed my teacher training at Aditya Yoga School with Alessandra Pecorella and became RHS200 certified. I teach a dynamic style vinyasa practice inspired by my many great teachers with my own little touches (lots of smiling and a bit of humour). This rhythmic flow links breath with movement, lifting the heart rate and helping to calm a busy mind. The vinyasa practice serves me in particular as a form of moving meditation – the perfect antidote for hectic big city life.
I love introducing new beginners to the practice, and, helping those more experienced expand their perspective and explore asana (physical postures) in different ways.
Check out my schedule. I hope to see you on the mat.
Namaste.
